Blair to let EU arrest Brits My first reaction to this was "Wow, I'm glad I don't live in Europe". But then after more careful thought, it occurred to me that the US will be next to decide to forgo all rules of evidence and it's own laws in the "fight against terrorism". We don't have a law against xenophobia, but we do have "hate crimes", which is just as stupid. They both are thought crimes more than anything else, and that is a area we should not be involved in at all!
