Membership management software Saw this today and nodded in a knowing way while I read it: "Membership management software comes in all shapes and sizes, with most products running as hosted applications. Your organization's specific needs will determine the applications that make the short list. For example, email list management is considered an essential function by most organizations. But depending on the organization, there can be a great variety of additional requirements, from fund raising and donation management through polling, bulletin boards, e-commerce, advertising, and content management. With so many applications on the market, sifting through the products can be a difficult task." They were kind enough to not mention the added complication of getting all your users and management to agree on what they need.
