MS Office Beta Notes This is a side-blog where I intend to keep all of my notes from Beta testing new versions of Office. This will keep them all in one place for future reference. I started this with Office 2003, and am bringing it back for the 2007 version. This is not an official Microsoft site, this is just the ramblings of one IT guy.

Bothersome Outlook 2003 didnt spit out an error about being unable to connect to the POP server on startup yesterday, despite the fact that, as I discovered later, my internet connection was down. It just froze. I should have gotten a timeout error, shouldn't I? I did, after I closed and reopened it, the timeout error came up almost immediately, telling me the server was unreachable. I hope it was a one-time thing... In other news today's Lockergnome Windows Daily has some news from folks trying out 2003 beta in regards to Outlook.
