MS Office Beta Notes This is a side-blog where I intend to keep all of my notes from Beta testing new versions of Office. This will keep them all in one place for future reference. Gnomedex Just saw Chris showing off his news aggregator of choice and in passing he showed the ability to use the search folders in Outlook 2003 to make it even more powerful. He mentioned search folders being "the one reason to upgrade" to Outlook 2003. It is a rather useful feature. Thursday, July 24, 2003

PC world review I mostly agree with this review of Office 2003 from PC world. The older Office apps probably really aren't worth the upgrade, but the "extras" might just be. Of course, the "extras" probably aren't worth it if you don't also upgrade the other apps to 2003 so that they can take advantage of all the new features. This could get to be an expensive upgrade, no?
