MS Office Beta Notes This is a side-blog where I intend to keep all of my notes from Beta testing new versions of Office. This will keep them all in one place for future reference. I started this with Office 2003, and am bringing it back for the 2007 version. This is not an official Microsoft site, this is just the ramblings of one IT guy.

Possible confusion I spent a good part of Friday at work setting up my new, second computer. The higher ups wanted us helpdesk folks to have a working machine with Office 2003 on it, without replacing the machine with Office 2000 on it as we begin to roll out 2003, finally. bviously, until everyone has 2003 we'll be supporting 2000 still and need to access the 2000 components so we're working with 2 computers each. (Yes my under the desk leg room got quite a bit smaller now that there's a KVM and network switch, along with all the requisite cables running under there.) So that means I'm supporting 2000, testing and eventually supporting 2003, and working with the beta of 2007 on my personal laptop. Forgive me if I get confused. :) Tags: Wednesday, June 07, 2006
Little things Sometimes it really is the little things that catch your attention at first, and awe you with their simplicity, like the next/previous feature in Outlook that locates the headings from the various replies in an email conversation and lets you navigate to each reply quickly. Nice..
