Corey Tomlinson from Nuix reached out after reading my blog post about their software demo to engage me in a conversation with him and Hoke Smith, also from Nuix, about the issues raised. Specifically, we wanted to talk about the fine lines organizations walk between monitoring their network and devices for misuse or data leak, and tracking an awful lot of information about their employees.
It was an interesting conversation, and it was fun to take part in the podcast.
In the end though, I think we all agreed that every employee needs to take a minute and think about their role in data security, and think about what kinds of things may just best be done on their own personal devices and networks, instead of work.
You can read about it on the Nuix blog, and take a listen to it there as well.
