There’s a change in the air

Looks like Tony has left Penguin Shell. Someone else will be writing that particular Lockergnome newsletter. I can understand what Tony had to say about it, and I can also understand what Chris has to do as a businessman, and I wish them both the best of luck in their separate directions!

Thanks for all the work you put in Tony!

Speaking of leaving, this weekend the New York City subway token was put to rest.. Reading that whole entry shows just how much has changed just in my own lifetime. I played stickball, remember famous mafia hits, made many a call from a phone booth, etc. when I was growing up there. 🙂

  • Why user’s lie

I think Andy’s comment on that last post hints at some of why user’s lie. He says: but then a reboot WILL cure a lot of problems but doesn’t actually fix the problem as to WHY it happens. I think a large part of why user’s lie is tied into their expectations. When you work…

This is a rant that has been a long time coming, so take this as “the straw that broke the camel’s back” so to speak. It might seem like I’m being a bit harsh and over the top to this particular comment, but it’s a much more general idea than that, as you’ll see. From…

  • It’s been a long week

It really has. There’s just been so much going on at work, and outside work with doctor visits (nothing serious, no worries), board meetings, website updates, etc. But now we’re off the Vegas for 5 days of forgetting that I even have a job! I’m taking the laptop though, taking lots of photos, and I…
