Yesterday, as I was leaving work I noticed that one of my coworkers has a telescope in his office. Naturally, it’s pointed out the window. Two thoughts raced into my head: 1) We only work during the day. 2) Even if you were here at night, we work in a downtown, urban, hence, well-lit area….
It’s been a long week. I know I’ve been quiet around here, but besides being just a busy week, I’ve been distracted all week by the birth, and subsequent complications, of our new niece. I’m happy to say that she is progressing, and they anticipate her being able to go home in time for Thanksgiving….

Interestingly, Intuit is now saying maybe they were wrong with the anti-piracy stuff they built into TurboTax. It’s interesting though that they claim to want to be very open about the fact that they weren’t installing spyware, but they chose a product that wrote to part of the HD you can’t see. Not the best…
