I love free wi-fi

Hey, the best thing about Gnomedex right now? I-spot’s free wi-fi! I had to do a very basic install on Weds night to the new hard drive on the laptop and I’m now sitting in the hall of the Convention center downloading stuff so I can actually do things like edit my pictures, make a web album out of them, and use Trillian to IM my wife back home. These guys rock! I wasn’t looking forward to trying to do all that on dialup, I can tell you that!

Update: I got trillian running but I have no idea what my ICQ password is, so if you’re looking for me on there, try Yahoo user ID mikemac29, or the same username at hotmail for MSN.

Microsoft Upgrades Hotmail I noticed it this morning, and I like it, for the most part. They did get rid of one thing that I used to really like about hotmail though, the stuff at the top of a message (delete, next, previous, move, etc.) used to show up at the bottom of a message…
