Last week Angela and I went out with to catch a show at ShadowBox Cabaret with a co-worker of hers. Her husband came along, who neither of us had ever met before. After some intros and chit-chat we discovered that he’s not only a blogger, but he’s working on putting together a podcast with his co-blogger.
It’s like the podcasters are taking over the place. 🙂

Rolling out an AI model might turn into much more of an Information Governance exercise than you’ve bargained for. Maybe that’s a good thing, though. Maybe it’s time to get rid of all that junk, not just because of the junk itself but because it’ll make your AI rollout more successful.
If you use My Yahoo! and want to use it as a news aggregator you can just click Add to My Yahoo! and start it up. It’s nowhere near as flexible as other aggregators but it requires no downloading or installation. Maybe it’s a step toward more wide-spread use of RSS? (link via Library Stuff)…
I haven’t started a podcast, though. That might be a bit too far for this introvert. But I’ve been a guest on a few, and I’m always open to being a guest on yours. Those connections can prove invaluable in the era of mass layoffs. I’m thankful to everyone who reads and shares my words with their network. That’s how the community gets built, and we are all better with a community of smart people around us willing to share their knowledge and connections.Â
Plus, introverts get to participate without competing with the loudest voices at the bar. The internet can provide that for all of us if we are willing to escape the enshittified social media platforms. It’s still there.Â
Put something into the world and let that work connect you to the audience who needs to see it. It’s like going to a networking event with the whole world.Â
Rick Klau has some interesting comments about Gmail. I do think this is just the beginning for where Google is headed with this. I envision big things. I didn’t sign up for an account for a long time, even though as a Blogger user I was eligible, because personally I still like living in Outlook…
