Angela’s new toy

Angela braved the Friday morning crowds to pick up a new toy for us, well for her more than anything, but we’ll both be enjoying it. At $154 the Kodak EasyShare CX4300 digital camera was a nice addition to the family gadget collection. Anytime you can grab a 3.1 megapixel camera for that price, it’s worth it!

Not that I would have been lined up at Walmart at 5:45AM the way she and her mom, and numerous other people, were. I was still sleeping snugly in the bed while they were out on the shopping extravaganza, but I admire their dedication. 🙂

They even had 64MB SD cards real cheap too, so she got one of those to work with the camera. Now I figure we’ll have two digital cameras when the need arises between us, and I can always use the 128MB CF card back and forth between the HP digital camera and the Pocket PC, at least until I outgrow it. 🙂

I hope the rest of you are going to be getting cool toys for Xmas yourselves!

OK here’s the scenario, longtime readers will remember that my employer has a website. • Interesting questions.

The recent news that the RIAA wants ISP’s to start paying a tax for their customers file sharing raises a number of interesting questions. To me, this has always been the “tipping point” of sorts for the whole file-sharing question. It was inevitable that the RIAA and MPAA would go after ISP’s. There’s no cost-effective…
