Angela’s new toy

Angela braved the Friday morning crowds to pick up a new toy for us, well for her more than anything, but we’ll both be enjoying it. At $154 the Kodak EasyShare CX4300 digital camera was a nice addition to the family gadget collection. Anytime you can grab a 3.1 megapixel camera for that price, it’s worth it!

Not that I would have been lined up at Walmart at 5:45AM the way she and her mom, and numerous other people, were. I was still sleeping snugly in the bed while they were out on the shopping extravaganza, but I admire their dedication. 🙂

They even had 64MB SD cards real cheap too, so she got one of those to work with the camera. Now I figure we’ll have two digital cameras when the need arises between us, and I can always use the 128MB CF card back and forth between the HP digital camera and the Pocket PC, at least until I outgrow it. 🙂

I hope the rest of you are going to be getting cool toys for Xmas yourselves!

Another Centrino review. Gosh those notebook chips make you want to run right out and buy a new notebook, don’t they? I guess I’ll have to somehow manage without one, though. Follow these topics: Uncategorized

Like I said yesterday, there’s been no signs of blaster on the loose on our work network, or our home network, but that hasn’t stopped me from having to email a few people at work the link to Symantec’s removal tool because they got it at home! Sometimes we forget just how many people out…

  • Spyware cleanup

AKA the great cleanup of 2006. I’ve always said that I wasn’t a good test subject to measure how effective any anti-trojan or spyware application is, so while I’ve kept a professional interest in the latest and greatest tools, I hadn’t been given a really good opportunity to try them out, until last week. A…

  • Add-ons

Looks like Microsoft has some interesting things in the plans as far as add-on’s for Windows Server 2003. The most interesting thing I saw was the Virtual Server that would let businesses migrate to 2003 but still have a place to run legacy applications that aren’t compatible with 2003. That one, I think, will be…
