XP SP2 RC1

KC Lemson was kind enough to point to Jeff’s post with some details about changes that will be coming to Internet Explorer with Windows XP Service Pack 2. I like what I’m hearing here about the popup blocker and the Active X controls. If it works as advertised it’s definitely a step in the right direction!

On a side note, Angela’s site is currently in the process of being moved, so you may have some funkiness and it may be unreachable for some people. As with any DNS change, give it a couple of days, hopefully by the time we get back from Richmond on Monday, it’ll all be back to normal!

I have a question, when you’re switching from using Outlook Express 6 to Outlook 2000, why does Outlook refuse to import message rules that are incompatible with older versions of Outlook? At least I think that’s what happened, when I imported the message rules, all of the “mail from specified account” rules didn’t import, and…

Culture is Defined by the Worst Behavior Tolerated

I wish I could take credit for the line in the title. But, I can’t. It has, however, been rumbling around in my brain for the past couple of days since I heard John Amaechi say it on a recent episode of Adam Grant’s podcast “Worklife” (Go listen to the whole episode, it’s very thought-provoking)

In an episode about how to build an anti-racist workplace, this was the line that sort of stopped not only me, but Adam as well. And, I think it applies to much more than anti-racism.
