I did make it safely. A rather uneventful trip to be honest, but I am here, and have already ran into Jim and Gretchen on their way out to Ohana. I decided to grab a pizza and check in with the office. Looks like I didn’t miss much, that’s always good!

Here’s an odd observation from talking to a few people. In downtown Des Moines at 7PM the Starbuck’s is closed, and has been for hours, but the liquor store is still open. I’m not sure what that says about Des Moines…
