Blogger stuff

I didn’t notice it earlier but Angela just pointed out the new stuff in the blogger interface. Now posting operates a bit more like Word, I can change fonts, colors and sizes, I can

center text

and there are keyboard shortcuts for all of that stuff.

Not sure how much I’l really use this, but hey, it’s more features, for free, so why complain?

The next day… Evan and Mr. Massless have more details, including reports of some bugginess.

Kevin stumbled on one of the more frustrating “rookie mistakes” that we all make from time to time. Not documenting stuff! I’ve stumbled on this one myself a few times recently, mistakenly thinking that a problem was a one-time thing and not writing down, and sharing with the other tech support folks, exactly what I…

  • Breathers

Yeah the morning’s been busy, (isn’t work always busy in IT?) but it’s been busy in a more calm, cool way than things have been. It’s been busy in the way that has you holed up by yourself working on stuff in your own office, not in dealing with and explaining things to a bunch…

  • Internet Explorer to stomp pop-ups

Saw this article over on News.com about how the next Service Pack ofWindows XP is going to include a pop-up blocker ability built-in to Internet Explorer. Interesting for two reasons. One, it’s about time! Two, if even IE comes with a pop-up blocker by default, that form of web advertising is dead, offically, although since…
