One of those days

I had hoped the short week due to Thanksgiving would be a relatively quiet one, but today definitely did not fit into that plan. One of our servers crashed early this morning, creating all kinds of havoc around the helpdesk, and the day pretty much went downhill from there. It was one of those days where everything was a struggle, everything took more energy than it should have, nothing worked exactly the way you’d expect it to, people didn’t listen to what I was telling them, etc.

I’m wore out, grumpy, and I don’t believe I’ve ever been so glad that tomorrow is the last work day of the week.

That being said, we’ll be out of town visiting Angela’s parents all weekend in the land of dialup, so it might be quiet around here. Hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving, at least those of you in the US who are celebrating it!
