A big oops!

ByMike McBride Reading Time: 1 minute

Jevon reminded me that I left out a rather big part of the getting updates puzzle! You could, of course, if you’re not interested in finding a way to get an RSS feed, or don’t want the email to get lost among your all important offers of free Viagra, the millionaire’s plan, or cheap cell phones, just use Blogtrack to check all of your favorite blogs for updates at one site.

I’ll still create an email and RSS feed, because well, I need multiple ways of getting the content out to people, it’s the only way I can completely inundate all of you with my thoughts constantly until they become your thoughts, and I become a world famous internet celebrity, and I take over the world…HAHAHA!

Yeah right, like I’d want that much responsibility! If I ruled the world, I wouldn’t have time watch hockey!

A new gallery added to the photo section, this one a handful of my favorite pictures of my home Columbus, Ohio. Yeah it’s about time, I know. I’m sure this gallery will be growing over time, but for now, this is a good start. Follow these topics: Uncategorized

Yup, that’s a fresh, new Movable Type installation over at that new domain. Really wasn’t all that difficult and didn’t take too long, considering I was only working on it while waiting for actual work processes to finish and would have to stop every 5 minutes or so. 🙂 I guess if it had my…

I hate the Monday after Daylight Savings Time starts. I especially hate having to attend a staff meeting (yawn!) first thing in the morning on the Monday after daylight savings time starts. There is not enough coffee in the world to get me going for that. 🙂 Follow these topics: Uncategorized

  • Updating

Sometime over the weekend I’ll be doing some updating of blogrolls, adding some, removing others, etc. Mostly I’ll be removing folks who just aren’t updating very often, or folks who’s blog have evolved into subjects that don’t really interest me any longer. Don’t take it personally, it happens, just as I’m sure some people have…

I’m Done Calling It Social "Media"

ByMike McBride Reading Time: 3 minutes

This is a follow up to yesterday’s post about Morton’s use of twitter. As Aaron and Angela both correctly point out in the comments, this sort of behavior devalues Twitter as a communication tool. I want to stop referring to Twitter and like-tools as “media” because media doesn’t even begin to cover what it does….
