No dice

So somewhere in the area of 8 months ago I setup a “job search agent” on Dice.com. I was having it send me the IT jobs that were being listed in the Columbus area, since I was thinking about doing some job searching. (It has been put off until next year) Only the search agent never actually sent me anything and I forgot about it. About a month ago, all of the sudden, these emails started showing up in my inbox every day. Well I don’t really care about this job search agent anymore so I went and turned the search agent off at the dice website. They still kept coming. I used Mailwasher to bounce the messages back to dice, they still keep coming….

Finally I went and deleted my profile entirely today, maybe now they’ll stop coming?

I just noticed something. Over on the list of folks who subscribe to this blog via Bloglines, there are a couple listed as having been subscribed since January 1, 1970. That means I was blogging at 1.5 years old, right? Gee I hope I’ve gotten better since then. Tags: Bloglines ESBN 56326-060227-480400-27 Rate content: Follow…
