National Champions

It took two overtimes, a bunch of ugly offense, great defense, a few controversial calls, a 16 yard pass on 4th and 14 in the first overtime, and last ditch pass on 4th down from the OSU 1 by Miami in the second, but in the end the Ohio State Buckeyes pulled off the upset, beating Miami in the Fiesta Bowl!

Maybe best of all, early reports seem to indicate that last night was a relatively incident free on campus and among Buckeye fans in Tempe. That’s more like it!

Last night, after spending the day touring the sights of Louisville, Angela and I spent some time looking for a good place to have dinner. We stumbled onto Melillo’s, a small, family-owned Italian place just East of downtown. What a great little place. The atmosphere is perfect to spend some time hanging out, drinking a…

A rather interesting piece that I came across over the weekend over at Adam Barr’s blog has had me thinking quite a bit about the term IT Generalist and the “persona” created by Microsoft’s marketing department. The first thing that popped into my head after reading it, and all the comments, is that some of…

Warning, actual real-life criticism ahead. If you can’t handle it, back away from the computer slowly… OK, first off there’s Chris Pirillo and the flak he’s getting for charging for Gnometomes. I’m of two minds on this one. First, I understand what Chris is doing, he’s trying to bring in some money for Lockergnome while…
