Remember this?

Remember last week when I told you I was going to check out PC Inspector File Recovery? Well this morning, I was able to succesfully recover files off a damaged floppy disk for a co-worker using it. That is what I call useful!

Upon further reflection though, I notice that it won’t let me recover anything off the C drive because it is itself installed on the C drive. That makes sense, their website even says it should be installed on a second drive, but it worked fine on my Win98 machine at home, getting deleted file info from the same drive it was installed on. Hmm, interesting. Maybe it’s a FAT32 vs. NTFS thing?
