Already?

Wow, is it really May 1st already? I wasn’t really paying attention until just now when I glanced at my calendar. Suddenly my daily workload got a lot heavier. I wasn’t really planning on running all the month-end stuff today, but I guess I will be now. 🙂

But before I go off to do that, a lesson learned. When you’re using all-caps to do titles on something like, say, a resume, as I do on one of the versions I have, (the one I posted yesterday) make sure you go into Tools/Options/Spelling & Grammar and uncheck the “ignore words in UPPERCASE” box. That way when you misspell one of the words in your title, Word’s spell check will actually catch it. Definitely a “duh” moment for me.

Maybe “toughing it out until 5” wasn’t the best idea I’ve ever had. In my weakened mental state I think I just agreed to do some on-the-side consulting work for an organization that I’m not all that fond of dealing with as part of my regular job! Oh well, it’s one machine, a couple of…

I saw where Google released a “me too” calendar tool today. I only have one word for them, Intellisync. I keep my calendar in Outlook, so I have it off-line, the only on-line tool I use is Yahoo’s calendar so that my wife can see where I will be at any given time in the…
