First roll

Yeah earlier this week I finished the first roll of film with the Minolta x700 SLR. Some of the pics were pretty good, some weren’t. I obviously got better at getting things in sharper focus as time went by, but I still need to practice and I need to be more aware of lighting and shadows. This camera is much more sensitive to light, I really need to slow down and frame the shot the best way for the light of the day, and get it in sharper focus. I’ve read where going too fast is a common mistake for newbie manual focus camera users, but being patient has never been a strong point of mine!

I’ll be getting some more practice with it tomorrow, as Angela and I are planning a trip to The Wilds.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll miss working with her and being together every day, but she’s going to be the PR Director for a non-profit organization, doing some of the stuff she loves. She’ll be writing, and…

That one, I think, will be…

Angela, beat me to the details of the mystery weekend, including some pictures. I haven’t even offloaded pics from the CF card of my digital camera yet. I’m such a slacker. No, instead I was looking at some interesting things that came across my aggregator while I was sans internet connection. Check last nights postings…

A glimpse: “In a shocking statement made by Back Street Boy, Kevin Richardson, he testified that they have NEVER received a royalty check, and that they only took a large advance after their third hit album in a row failed to…
