Master-Blaster

You know they shouldn’t give very bad worms names that make me think of Mad Max-Beyond Thunderdome. It sort of ruins the seriousness of it, doesn’t it?

(And yes that movie reference probably ages me more than I care to admit!)

That being said, I’ve seen no evidence of it in our office, which is as it should be, since our pseudo-ISP should be blocking all that traffic at the firewall. At least they said they would, which is what I had to resort to checking on when I realized that some of our desktop OS versions are unsupported and don’t have a patch available. Of course that’s irrelevant to most things because they do sit behind a corporate firewall, and as long as that’s configured correctly they should be alright for now.

Ah the hazards of working for not-for-profits and their cheap IT infrastructure! 🙂
