Bad IT people?

This guy really doesn’t like some IT people. I’d have to agree with him in some sense, I’ve run into far too many people who are convinced that technology “X” is THE thing our office needs who’ve never even set foot in our office or bothered to figure out what we do, let alone where the tech infrastructure fits into it!

On the other hand, I’m betting there are probably people who think that I am one of those schmucks that he’s talking about, and maybe, to some extent, I really am. 🙂

OK, the site is working again and I’m going to take a look at some other hosting packages in the near future, so that’s that for now. I’ll keep you informed, obviously, and I’m still open to suggestions but I’m moving on from my ranting about it. Life’s too short! 🙂 Thanks for the welcome…

  • Legal matters..

Since today is a big day, as far as Supreme Court decisions coming out, it’s only fitting that I hit a couple of legal questions. First, the Supremes did rule that libraries can be forced to use internet filters. Now, personally, I hoped for something better, but thought this would come out this way. (Of…

  • How bad is it?

I had another post written up here about work today, but then I realized that some of the information in it hadn’t been made public knowledge yet. While no one I work with reads this blog, outside of my wife, and I don’t give out the name of the place I work, there is still…
