Head’s up

Over the next couple of days this site is going to be moving to a different server. I know of one thing that will break, but nothing that you all will notice. (The feature that emails the comments to me uses CDONTS, which is not available in Windows 2003. That won’t work until I figure out how to switch the code to use CDOSYS, if I ever do. *L*)

Hopefully everything will go smoothly, and in a few days I’ll have access to ASP.net to add some new features to the site, or at least change the way some features work now. Keep your fingers crossed!

I was thinking something on the drive to work today about how electricity is sort of like IT. Nobody really notices the power companies until the power goes out. IT is very similar, no one really knows what goes on “down there” nor do they really understand what it is that we do, but lawdy…

Weekend in Charleston And Why It took So Long to Post

Yes, the photos were taken in June, which is when we actually spent a weekend driving down to Charleston, SC. Yes, it’s taken that long to actually get them shared on Flickr. This just goes to show the difference between being a professional, and photography as a hobby. No one was waiting on me to…

  • CSS anyone?

Steven, I agree that girls and boys both are doing things their parents would be shocked at, which is why I pointed to the article as an example to make sure you learn as much as your kids do. I don’t really care if it’s boys or girls, kids need their parents to have some…
