This is why I don’t wear a tie..

Normally, there’s a dress code around our office, and it includes the whole tie/jacket thing most of the year, but I’m excluded from it. Now that doesn’t mean I get to wear jeans and t-shirts or anything like that, but unless I’m dealing with outside people, and that’s very rarely, I get to dress in more of a business casual style. There are two reasons for that, of course one is that whole very rarely dealing with outsiders in person thing. The other was proven first thing this morning, as I found myself crawling under a coworkers desk to relocate some of the electrical wires after her UPS suddenly lost power. (Battery needs replaced, I’m sure.) If I had been wearing some expensive suit, my employer might have to pay for some dry cleaning. 🙂
