Maybe they should have called me instead

My dear wife got the phone call from the heating folks today at work. Her cell phone number was first in the list when we gave them the options to reach us today. See, our heat went out Saturday night, and they were in this morning to fix it. Apparently, Bob wanted to let us know it was taken care of, and called Angela’s cell phone. She was the lucky one who got to hear about the black bird that flew in to the heater, got caught in a wheel and died. She also got to hear about how the bird “stayed intact, unlike the squirrels, which usually get torn apart”.

I’m sure it was quite the conversation! 🙂
