Why Washington is not the place to deal with tech issues

You want to know why I don’t trust the government to deal with tech issues? Because even now, they’re debating something that the web has already worked around. While the few folks who are currently tied to an ISP email account might benefit from having the ISP required to forward the address, the rest of us have moved to Gmail, Yahoo, or gotten our own domain and moved past it.

As usual, the politicians are behind the curve. Are those the people you want deciding larger technology issues?
