Already?

Is my three day weekend over already? That sucks! Not that I haven’t had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, I’m just not looking forward to going back to work. Afterall, I have to move and rehook PC’s first thing in the morning, which is so not my normal routine! Normal routine usually has me reading email, drinking coffee and waking up before doing any heavy lifting. Not this week, with the carpet people working in various offices all week, and responsibility to move and re-setup PC’s falling to me, I’ll be sure to have antsy coworkers first thing every morning this week. They’ll be waiting patiently for their PCs to be hooked back up I’m sure. Oh well, there’s only one of me, so they’ll just have to form a line.

Lazy Sunday’s rock! OK so it wasn’t completely lazy, I did go through a couple of chapters of the VB 5 book, ran through a couple of exercises, and started to get down some of the code. But I also watched the DVD of Father Ted episodes that I picked up at the library, played…

By the way, the outage was not planned, someone screwed up when they were doing some router upgrades. I can’t complain because the email server definitely does seem much faster today than it had been! Besides, I don’t have the time, nor the bandwidth, to tell you about all the times I went to “upgrade”…

Found another potential problem with the installation of Internet Explorer 6 SP1. Apparently it adds and automatically checks a checkbox on your Tools/Options/Security tab that tells OE to “Not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus.” Nice idea, but the “potential virus” attachments I just tested it with, a…
