Do you feel lucky?

Blogrolling.com has a couple of new features. First, there’s the random “I’m feeling lucky” link that you can add to your blogroll. (See the Current Event Blogs over *pointing to the right of the page* there) Then there is the RecipRoll Code, which can automagically list the blogs who are using blogrolling to link to you. (So you never have to feel bad about not finding time to reciprocate links!) I haven’t implemented that one yet, I need to think about placement, and how to handle the folks who are already on my blogrolls.

I’m basically caught up with my work today. I still have a number of things to get done before I take off for Gnomedex, but I’ve got those all scheduled in, and I busted tail today to get all of the “I’m not sure how long that is going to take” projects off of my todo list! Of course I spend most of tomorrow at a Microsoft event, so it may pile back up on me, but let’s hope for the best, shall we?

I’ve added the “Email this post” function that Blogger has made available to it’s users. I’m not sure I’ll keep it, but I was in the mood to experiment. If you click the little envelope after this post, it’ll bring you to a page on blogger.com that will let you send a message with a…

  • Excuses

OK, it’s an excuse, I know. But you know those projects I was going to work on last night? They really relied on having an internet connection to accomplish most of what I wanted to do. • Week in review

It’s been a crazy week, as you all have read. Made none any less crazy by the fact that our Annual Meeting is coming up next week, which brings about it’s own flurry of activity that I haven’t even talked about on here. What do I take away from this week? The whole battle between…

  • Is it really Monday again?

Anyway, the search for blogs to link to the Child Abuse blog continues, I added a couple today, but it doesn’t seem like blogging the details of everyday life for abuse survivors or people dealing with depression or other obstacles has caught on quite the way I would have thought. Submissions are always welcome, and…

  • Net Stumbler

According to Gizmodo, Netstumbler 0.4 is out with: “support of the Atheros, Atmel, and Intersil Prism2-based cards (the chipset many WiFi PCMCIA and CF cards use), which means there’s a better chance that NetStumbler or MiniStumbler will work with your hardware.” I could never get the previous version to work with my PCMCIA wireless card,…

Mitch, in comments to a previous post: I get the shakes and an evil twitch if I am away from the computer too long, how did you do it. -;0 In all honesty, as much as I like using technology and gadgets and playing around with PC’s, I’ve never been one to get that far…
