She’s loose on Amazon!

Angela is running wild on the Amazon site. Seems as though she’s found a deal on Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 for her new eMac and couldn’t pass it up. She even made the purchase through my Amazon links, so I’ll get a little kick-back off of it to help support the site. I guess I can’t complain about that, although I was hoping to buy her that for our Anniversary or Xmas. She couldn’t wait that long..*L*

Gee between a couple of Amazon purchases and the One Man IT Department Store I might actually not have to spend too much of my own money on this site, eh? No matter, I love doing it!

By the way, found another new blog through the Blogrolling links. Thanks for linking Natalie! By the way, she’s the wife of a techie too, I bet Angela would like reading her blog. 🙂

The migraine I worked up to all day at work kept me from running out to get the wireless card for the laptop, so I haven’t gotten that setup at all yet. I tried to just add the access point to the existing network but I’m having a problem with that. I didn’t think it…

  • Outlook

The first bit of Office that I looked at was Outlook 2003. I spent a good portion of late Saturday night/Sunday morning learning about the differences and features. It took a little while to adjust to the 3 panes-across layout as opposed to the 1 pane on the left, two panes over top of each…

  • Wrapup

Updates on my week so far: Mac is still crashing. More graphics work has been lost. Possibly going to work exclusively booted into OS 9 for now. (It can’t hurt at this point..) Massive amounts of research done (Thanks to Google) to show that a company has made deceptive, if not outright false, statements to…

  • More snow

Woke up to more snow today, and yet another slippery drive into downtown. I did make it safely though! Even got here early. 🙂 Now pardon me while I get off to Monday morning staff meeting and then I’ll be in the wiring closet looking at that switch problem. Maybe that won’t be so bad…

  • Swimming in Access

Spent most of yesterday swimming in various Access databases, will probably spend a bunch more of today doing the same thing. Our membership database software is so difficult to use that whenever I have anything more than the simplest SQL functions I wind up pulling everything out into Access and doing the functions there and…
