Well it’s been fun…

It has been fun, being away from work for over a week, and then returning home from my little vacation to spend the three-day weekend with Angela has been wonderful, but tomorrow morning it’s back to the grind. I’ve kept an eye on email so I do have a pretty good idea of what sorts of immediate projects are waiting for me. They’ll keep me pretty busy for the next couple of days, I’m sure. I just hope there aren’t any really big surprises waiting for me. The one’s I know about are going to be enough, and I’ll be dealing with month-end stuff on top of those projects, so I will not have much patience for people coming up with surprises! 🙂

I’ll also have to try and get in touch with someone about some contract work on the side tomorrow as well. I can’t say much about it now but it’ll be nice to have some “extras” to put on my resume, even if it doesn’t turn out to be very much money. Angela’s the one who’s putting me in touch with this guy as he’s the one doing their networking at her new job. Turns out he may need someone to be available to do some minor repairs and troubleshooting on that, and possibly some other networks that he’s putting in for non-profits around Columbus. I’ll know more after I talk with him so, I’ll post more details as I get them.

Time for me to get stuff ready to go back to work…*sigh*

Keep this site handy. It has links to major employers in each metro area. Heck, just look at the list of employers in Columbus who have job postings on their websites. That should give me plenty of companies to start keeping track of! Follow these topics: Uncategorized

  • Now it’s the laptops

Gee after all those HD failures on the desktops, today it’s a laptop, only in this case it’s not completely gone, it’s just got bad clusters that keep you from doing much work without an application crash, but I was able to rescue data off of it to move over to our spare laptop for…
