Sometimes there’s just not much to say..

Yeah I know, posting’s been a little light, and sort of dull the past two days. I was actually out of the office yesterday, nursing a migraine/tension headache by sleeping most of the day. Today, I’ve been playing a little catch up, nothing major but stuff that takes up some time. (If I owe you an email, it’s coming, promise!) Besides, if I was to post anything about work today it would probably just get me in trouble. 🙂

I wouldn’t be surprised if I wound up with another headache later today. Those of you who are parents and have gotten headaches from listening to your kids whine will know exactly the sort of headache I’m talking about, only my whiners aren’t children. That’s all I’m saying….

For the record, this was how I spent most of my morning, and I’m passing this along in case you ever have to fix this. When someone tries to send a 135MB attachment, and it gets stuck in their Outbox in Outlook, this would seem to be the best solution. Unplug the machine from the…

  • I’m back

Yes, back in the office. Vacation was great, I was able to visit a lot of neat places, learn a lot of history and take in some Deep South culture in just a week’s time or so. It was very nice to spend a week away from the news, away from most technology, outside of…

I don’t have a solution, but I tend to think that if you’re creating public hotpots you don’t worry about neighbors getting access. Of course, maybe that’s just me. Follow…

  • How bad is it?

I had another post written up here about work today, but then I realized that some of the information in it hadn’t been made public knowledge yet. While no one I work with reads this blog, outside of my wife, and I don’t give out the name of the place I work, there is still…

  • Google Calendar

I saw where Google released a “me too” calendar tool today. I only have one word for them, Intellisync. I keep my calendar in Outlook, so I have it off-line, the only on-line tool I use is Yahoo’s calendar so that my wife can see where I will be at any given time in the…
