Jan 6

First off thanks to all the feedback about the PocketPC and PocketFeed! You guys are great. 🙂

Second just an FYI, I offically registered to take both of the A+ exams on Jan 6. Seeing as how I forked out $139 per exam on this, I’m thinking I’ve really got to pass these things! Luckily, I figured out that I can transcribe some notes and tables (like IRQ tables, DMA channels, or Socket Type/Processor table, the stuff that’s really hard for me to memorize!) and I’m syncing them to the PocketPC, so I’m studying and learning to use my new gadget all at once.

Anyway, you’ll excuse me if I get involved pretty heavily in A+ stuff and don’t do much work around the site for awhile, won’t you?

Random things I learned driving around the country last week: No matter where you are in the US, if you hit the scan button on the radio you will inevitably find these three things: 1. A “Real Classic Rock” station that plays far too much Zeppelin, Kansas and Skynyrd. 2. A just plain “classic rock”…

A post with a bullet, or three. * Firefox’s update went pretty smoothly on my laptop, it had one little hiccup on my work desktop. After restarting Firefox, the Clippings extension threw up a script error. Disabling Clippings and reinstalling it fixed the problem. BTW, Clippings is a very handy tool when your helpdesk software…

  • Firefox 1.5

Silly me, I saw all the news about Firefox version 1.5 being out and went to check it out before I stopped to think about how many extensions wouldn’t work yet. So I’ve spent far too much time trying to track down updates to extensions that the updater within Firefox couldn’t find yet, and then…
