w.bloggar

The last post I made to the Child Abuse blog was made using the w.bloggar tool. It’s a nice little tool but there’s one big drawback to using it with Blogger Pro. There’s no title field on new posts? What’s up with that? Maybe the new, currently being beta-tested, version of blogger will fix that problem with the Blogger API. We can only hope.

Of course, blogger is still fairly easy to use in the browser interface, so it’s not like I was planning on using w.bloggar all that much anyway. On a MT blog, though, it does save some clicks, and adds some easily accessible tools for all of us lazy bloggers. 🙂

A rather interesting piece that I came across over the weekend over at Adam Barr’s blog has had me thinking quite a bit about the term IT Generalist and the “persona” created by Microsoft’s marketing department. The first thing that popped into my head after reading it, and all the comments, is that some of…

Josh points out a Register article that takes a look at the EULA for Win2000 Service Pack 3. The wording is enough to give you pause, I would think. Jevon and Geek are both pointing to this story about Activebuddy’s patent win. I’m not a programmer, so I don’t know for sure, but I’m fairly…
