Should have seen this coming.

Since we leave in the morning to visit Anglea’s grandfather down in Louisiana, and since that means I’ll be out of the office on Monday, and since today marks the first working day of the year, I probably should have thought about the fact that being gone on the second working day of the year would require me to get alll of the month and year-end reporting done in one day. I did it, with about 10 minutes to spare, but man I am just mentally exhausted right now. Too many little details and numbers and accounting stuff for one day.

And to think I used to do accounting stuff all day every day before I got into IT. How did I do that? *L*

Have a good weekend, be back on Tuesday!

Yeah, as you can see, I moved all the blogroll lists into blogrolling.com so that way I can make changes on the fly and move at least those lists into new templates easier. It’s a pretty cool service, I must say. I have it set so that the order is random, every time you come…

  • Misc. ramblings

Good morning! I spent a good chunk of last night setting up the comments for my Brother-in-Law’s wedding site. I had to re-enable the Messenger Service, since I do use “net send” across our internal network quite often….

  • The weekend

Had a rather productive weekend. Finally got around to getting the license and install of VMWare that was part of my Christmas gift this year. Did a quick Red Hat install to make sure everything was working properly. Now I need to purchase some more RAM for the machine it’s running on at home. The…

  • Why I’m a skeptic

Here’s a good reason why I have a hard time believing most of what I hear from news organizations. It’s all about making the story more interesting than it really is and inducing panic so that people stay tuned, isn’t it? So, we’ve got newspeople spouting basically whatever comes into their heads as truth, and…

  • Interesting article

Found this link over at Scoble’s today: Blogs: Another Tool in the Security Pro’s Toolkit This article gets into one of the first things I noticed about blogs, the potential to process more useful information. By that I mean when I first started this blog way back in Oct. 2001, one of the first things…
