Orkut

Now, keep in mind that I’m not the biggest fan of social software. I don’t really find it all that useful, but I didn’t say anything about Orkut while everyone else was talking about it, because I hadn’t ever actually tried it. Last night Josh was kind enough to send me an invite, so I decided to go ahead and sign up and try it out for myself. Keeping in mind that my expectations going into this are very low, we’ll see over the next few weeks whether it does anything to change my impression of social software. If nothing else perhaps it’ll help me find a few more interesting blogs to read. If it does that, I won’t consider it a waste of time, if it does anything more than that, I might just come to veiw it as useful..:)

  • Stats and stuff

I’m trying some new stuff with the stats, AGAIN! Since I didn’t like the stats that Ready Hosting used, I traded in, so to speak. I gave up that program in exchange for having the raw server logs dumped into my ftp directory. Then I downloaded copies of Analog and Report Magic to my PC….
