First Day

Not only was today my first day at the new job, but it was also rollout day for a new document management system firm-wide. Yes, over 300 people had to deal with coming into the office and having to work in a different environment than the one they left Friday. That meant a whole lot of help desk requests for helping people find things, fixing slight problems, etc. In other words, utter chaos, and chaos that I was completely unable to help anyone deal with. It can only get better from here, right?

I’m mentally exhausted…

I’d argue that no job is worth risking your health, but I don’t think Elon would see it that way.

I know he likes to brag about his work hours and how “No one ever changed the world working 40 hours per week”. Reading the science on how more mistake-prone employees working all of those long hours can be makes me wonder if Elon had taken a few hours off and gotten some rest maybe he doesn’t make that offer to buy Twitter and find himself in the mess he’s in.
