She’s not the only one

My wife is not the only one in the family looking for a new name. This here blog needs one too. I’m not a one-man IT department anymore. I’m just a regular helpdesk/support guy who happens to spend a lot of his free time playing around with technoology, and likes to share his ideas and discoveries on-line. So how ’bout some suggestions?

I’ll even add an incentive. My PC World subscription is up, and they’re offering me a free “gift” subscription for renewing, so if you are the one who helps come up with the new name and new concept for the site that I choose, I’ll gift that subscription to you. Assuming, of course, that you don’t start twitching at the thought of reading something off-line. 😉

  • Happy St. Patrick’s Day

I’m at work now with my green on, and a handful of Irish CD’s ready to listen to all day. The only thing missing is a Guinness to sip on…

  • Memorial Day

It’s Memorial Day. Given that, it was only natural to spend some of the day at Appomattox Court House and then the D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA. This picture was from the second stop of the day, and if you’re in the area of Bedford, I highly recommend it! More pictures when I get back…

John Hiler says: This is the dark side of blogging: the emphasis it puts on our egos. If I write something and someone else blogs it on their site… well all of a sudden, I feel validated and great about myself. Same thing goes with press mentions: you read a few articles that mention you…
