Dave Slusher talked about seeing his local library go all Web 2.0 on him with a Flickr photoset and even a video on YouTube today, which struck me as interesting because I’ve been doing some of those on-line interactivity things with the Friends of the Library site too to sort of increase the visibility of the group. I don’t have any video but I did create a Flickr account to share more photos of events and other things surrounding the Friends work with the Library. I’ve been including links to the tagged sets on Flickr for more photos of events as I post about them on the news page and just generally hoping that the photos bring a certain sense of fun to the site.  

We’ll see what sort of impact it has on visibility.
