Multiple Twitter Accounts

ByMike McBride October 9, 2009 Reading Time: 1 minute

Since I respect my followers, and have tried very hard to consistently meet their expectations of providing information that applies to them, and is in the general vicinity of what I do professionally, with a small dose of my personal life, I thought maybe spending a lot of time talking hockey and other sports might be a bit much for them.

So I created another Twitter account, @mikemacsports, just to talk in more detail about sports, and just in time for hockey season!

Feel free to follow me there too if you are a sports fan, but if you’re not, I’ll keep the sports talk on my main Twitter account, @mikemac29, to a minimum! 🙂

Another Sign That All Converstions Have Moved To Social Media
ByMike McBride November 26, 2014January 30, 2015 Reading Time: 2 minutes

As if we needed another reminder that Facebook, and the like, is where all conversations are happening on the internet, I recently updated the Social plugin from Mailchimp across my blogs and noticed something different. Where there used to be a limit on the number of characters when broadcasting a post to Facebook, suddenly it…

The Final Tally
ByMike McBride August 29, 2010 Reading Time: 1 minute

As I waited at the airport in Las Vegas yesterday, I did some quick figuring about the month of August, 2010. In the first 27 days of the month, I had spent the night in a hotel for 21 of them. In that time I had: Slept in 5 different hotels Flown over 10,000 miles…

Early Impressions of LinkedIn Publishing
ByMike McBride July 3, 2014July 3, 2014 Reading Time: 3 minutes

As you may know, I decided to give LinkedIn’s publishing platform a try after it was opened up to me, and many others. To further the experiment, I also pushed out links to just about every social network I could, pointing to the LinkedIn piece. I pimped it more than I usually pimp a post…
