Microsoft Eliminates 300 seat Requirement for Copilot

If you were out marking the occasion for Martin Luther King Day or hunkering down from the cold in the US today, you may not have noticed this announcement from Microsoft.

Today we are excited to announce that Copilot for Microsoft 365 is now available for organizations of all sizes — with no seat minimum. We are also enabling our partners to help every business become AI-powered.

That means many of us working in smaller organizations now have to consider Copilot. On the plus side, though, this should help eliminate the number of consultants and experts advising their clients without having access to test and use Copilot on their own.

That’s pretty exciting. I wonder if they’ll let me purchase it for my Dev environment. I’m not holding my breath. I’ll possibly have to find another way to access it using a business account or something. Do any MS licensing experts want to offer some advice?

I guess sending out the M365 newsletter this morning was a bad idea. lol I’m going to have to send out an update.
