News tidbits

Thanks to Robyn, I learned that not only can you use X10 cameras to spy on your kids or the babysitter, or your good looking houseguests, but lots of other folks could be tapping into those images as well! Hmm might want to think twice about what you’re doing in front of the X10, eh?

It will be interesting to see how Chris Pirillo’s e-book does. It’s an interesting idea, pool together 50 tips about a subject, XP in this case, and push it out as an e-book at 5 bucks a pop. I’m curious to see how it sells.

This article compares current proposed US legislation to the USSR. Hmm maybe he read my comparison to Cuba? 🙂

  • More on copyright

Brian, in the comments on the last post, decries the fact that we are giving individual rights to corporations. He may have a point in that, but I want to clarify where I stand on the copyright issue. I do believe in copyrights, and I do believe that even corporations that create artistic works, or…

  • Welcome Back!

  • More snow

Woke up to more snow today, and yet another slippery drive into downtown. I did make it safely though! Even got here early. 🙂 Now pardon me while I get off to Monday morning staff meeting and then I’ll be in the wiring closet looking at that switch problem. Maybe that won’t be so bad…
