In other news:

Got everything ready to go for tomorrow, assuming no one comes up with a bizarre request at the last minute. (That never happens, does it? *L*) So, I’m looking at today’s news:

As if my road trip craving wasn’t bad enough, Dane is pointing to Taken on the Road, a nice collection of pictures from every mile of a drive across country. I can’t wait. Luckily it’s looking like I’ll get to do a couple of trips this Spring/Summer, starting with flying to Boston in less than two weeks!

Microsoft released two security patches for NT/2000. The NT one isn’t a big deal because someone actually has to be logged on locally to use the exploit, but if you have someone with enough knowledge to be dangerous in your business, it wouldn’t hurt to check it out. 🙂

Web surfers brace for pop-up downloads -oh good grief people, one, learn to say NO! Two, would you people please stop trying to gain control over my PC! It’s MY PC not your advertising pipeline!

From Scripting News, Dave’s followup to a post about suddenly getting 1000’s of copies of the same message: “Postscript: I hadn’t opened any of the emails, I just did, and saw that he’s marching through all four-letter combinations of email addresses at one of the domains I own. • Weekend Fun

We had tickets to the Ohio State-San Diego State game yesterday afternoon, and since Angela had to work a morning event on campus well before game time, Finnegan and I had some time to ourselves to tour the campus. He’s got a couple of his favorite poses over on his blog. Speaking of football, any…
