She’s loose on Amazon!

Angela is running wild on the Amazon site. Seems as though she’s found a deal on Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 for her new eMac and couldn’t pass it up. She even made the purchase through my Amazon links, so I’ll get a little kick-back off of it to help support the site. I guess I can’t complain about that, although I was hoping to buy her that for our Anniversary or Xmas. She couldn’t wait that long..*L*

Gee between a couple of Amazon purchases and the One Man IT Department Store I might actually not have to spend too much of my own money on this site, eh? No matter, I love doing it!

By the way, found another new blog through the Blogrolling links. Thanks for linking Natalie! By the way, she’s the wife of a techie too, I bet Angela would like reading her blog. 🙂

So, if there’s science behind the idea that angry/negative people can be bad for your brain, does working on a helpdesk constitute a mental health risk? 😉 I’m kidding, but there is something rather serious to think about. This post over at the Friends in Tech forum brought back a lot of memories, especially Douglas’ response, because he really gives some insight into the real meaning of those kinds of comments from users. In the 7 annual reviews I went through at my old job, years 2,3 and 4 all included that sort…

I could set-up any SMTP server manually though. I could easily right-click any file and use the “backup to email”…

  • So here’s the thing..

I’m still pondering how to make some sort of organization come out of the blogroll. I’m still leaning toward blogs that deal with technology mostly, and blogs that deal with other topics mostly. (Perhaps a News/Current Events category and a Everyday Life category?) I’m filling in more blogs as we speak that fit into all…

  • First roll

Yeah earlier this week I finished the first roll of film with the Minolta x700 SLR. Some of the pics were pretty good, some weren’t. I obviously got better at getting things in sharper focus as time went by, but I still need to practice and I need to be more aware of lighting and…
