Now it’s the laptops

Gee after all those HD failures on the desktops, today it’s a laptop, only in this case it’s not completely gone, it’s just got bad clusters that keep you from doing much work without an application crash, but I was able to rescue data off of it to move over to our spare laptop for the user while I wait for the replacement to arrive, which looks to be early next week. At least this happened close to Xmas, so the user in question should be able to make do with the spare for a few days.

There goes the quiet uneventful week I was looking forward to though. 🙂
