Hackers Manipulating Internet Explorer Add-Ons

Apparently, there is going to be an MT-Blacklist compatible with Movable Type 3.0 I’m still not completely convinced that I’ll be updating the child abuse blog to 3.0, but it’s nice to know I can take my favorite tool with me if I do, and I won’t be forced to using TypeKey to keep out spammers.

The Rise Of Gadgets Mean We’re Working Even When We’re Playing -If you work in IT, you know this is true. If you’ve just followed along here for any amount of time, you know this is true. I planned my Memorial Day vacation stops around hotels with internet access, so I could keep up with what was going on at the office. I made a tech support call last year from Denver, CO to order a replacement part, using my PocketPC’s copy of our hardware inventory to get the serial number so the part would be in house when I got back from my vacation. I regularly catch up on tech news, security/virus alerts and various other internet resources from home when my work days are too busy to read it all. This is life in IT!

Yes it’s 3:30PM and I’m still working on the same problem that was carried over from yesterday. It’s taken me almost this long just to convince them that it wasn’t the FTP client I was using that was causing the problem. I’ve only been using this FTP client for years with no problems up until…
