Firefox 1.5

Silly me, I saw all the news about Firefox version 1.5 being out and went to check it out before I stopped to think about how many extensions wouldn’t work yet. So I’ve spent far too much time trying to track down updates to extensions that the updater within Firefox couldn’t find yet, and then trying to figure out which Greasemonkey scripts don’t work with the update to that extension. Basically, a whole bunch of stuff doesn’t work. I’m, frankly, not sure upgrading this quickly was worth it. I’m not seeing a whole lot of improvements to the browser that make up for the the stuff like adding tags to these posts without having to type them or spellcheck my posts in the browser that I suddenly can’t do like I used to.

  • How I spent my afternoon

Well for most of the afternoon, I’ve been trying to convince myself that it is really not Friday yet, but it’s not working very well. That means that tomorrow should be a very long, unproductive day. Ugh! This afternoon, though, has been productive, at least personally. Well, I was running database mass modifications in the…
