Excuse the mess

Making some changes around here. Adding the backlinks feature from Blogger, changing the archive format to enable post pages, etc. I’m thinking about switching to Blogger comments as well, but haven’t decided yet. Anyone have a suggestion either way? The new name and, hopefully, logo, are in the works. Patience…

I’m also going to change the address to subscribe to this blog by email. If you’re subscribed to the Topica list, look out for an email from me, that list is giving me too many problems.

And yes, I’ll be putting the password protection on Angela’s blog soon, so let her know if you want access.

Oh yeah the Knoppix CD has been burned and I did do a quick boot using it on my work machine, just to make sure I had a good CD. The setup didn’t find any soundcard. I’ve yet to have any Linux install configure the integrated audio on any of my PC’s that have that….

Pulled from today’s version of the Langa List could be the answer to something that I’ve been meaning to look at more closely. Basically the situation is this, some of the news and political organizations we deal with have their media stuff available on their websites. Some of them are Windows Media, some are Real…

  • Thoughts for the weekend

Random cantankerous thoughts that I’ve thought this week: People who feel the need to remind you how open minded they are, aren’t. It’s probably time to bail when the association you work for decides that the very core of what it does, isn’t something they can sell to people and their own marketing people start…
