Remote Calendars

I’ve written before about my reluctance to use Google Calendar because my whole schedule is in Outlook and I have used Yahoo’s for keeping my wife informed on my calendar because Google doesn’t have an easy way to synchronize with Outlook. I thought today when I saw a link to this post about Remote Calendars that I had a way to start using Google Calendar, but the solution I wanted proved to be just out of my reach.

Seems that in order to get Remote Calendars to work with Outlook 2007 beta, you have to get it working with Outlook 2003 and then upgrade. Since I’ve already done that upgrade, and don’t especially want to go back to 2003 and redo it, I guess I’ll continue working the way I have been.

Found via last night’s Tech Support Alert newsletter, F-Secure has made available a beta version of Backlight, a rootkit scanner/revealer for free, until July 1, 2005. • More work at home..

So after another eventful Monday at work, mostly with routine junk, email updates, and Staff Meetings that are normal for Mondays, I went home with even more work to do. 1. Amen, Brother! I wasted such a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out how to get it to work w/ O2007! However, I’ve given notice at my current employer, so will set this up with my Outlook 2003 at home. I’ll let you know if I can get it working there, or if it’s simply a lost cause.
